The Get Set for Work program is designed to support young people aged 15-19yrs who have disengaged from mainstream schooling find employment or a more suitable education pathway. Students will be supported to obtain a Cert II in Vocational studies, participate in work experience, complete a resume and build skills to achieve their employment goals. We strive to support young people in all aspects of their life to ensure they leave our program feeling confident and supported.

Get Set for Work are seeking mentors to support a diverse group of young people achieve their employment/educational goals. As a mentor you will provide support to our students during both informal and formal learning settings. Our planner includes two RTO training days where students are supported to complete a Certificate II delivered by an external training organisation and three days of a variety of learning activities and job preparation tasks. It is imperative that our mentors have an open mind when committing to a mentor role with us as we will be supporting a diverse range of young people with differing support needs including behavioural challenges.
