Orygen Assist is our volunteer-run program that provides access to essential food, clothing and hygiene items for young people experiencing mental ill-health and their families.
Our volunteers operate a drop-in shop at our Parkville site on Mondays, Wednesdays (1pm-4pm) and Fridays (10am-1pm), as well as an online ordering and deliveries service across the Orygen sites for clinicians and staff on behalf of their young people and families.
We are looking to expand opening hours to open on Tuesdays and Thursdays (10am-1pm or 1pm-4pm) initially and then extend opening hours to Monday-Friday, 10am-4pm.
Volunteers complete an interview, on-boarding paperwork, training and induction.
