Are you passionate about contributing to mental wellbeing or positive mental health inside of schools and community organisations? Why not make Mental Health First Aid kits for those in need?
Inspired by a project run by Southern Volunteering (SA) Inc, we are encouraging you to get creative with what you have at hand to help people calm their minds.
For this opportunity you will need to research how to make Mental Health First Aid Kits (also known as emotional first aid kids, psychological first aid kits or comfort kits) and use your skills in arts and crafts to bring it to life! You will also be using communication skills to find a home for your kits once they made.
Equipment and materials are not supplied.
Highly recommend supervision for under 18's.
