Do you stand for women's rights and are interested in making cushions to provide comfort for women who are post-operative of breast surgery?
Inspired by Zonta Breast Care Cushions (also known as mastectomy pillows) we are encouraging people with sewing skills to explore using their abilities to offer a much needed source of comfort and support to individuals, both women and men, during the crucial post-operative phase of breast surgery.
This DIY volunteer opportunity encourages you to get out into community to find someone/somewhere that would benefit from the gift, and to get creative in following a sewing pattern to completion.
Equipment and materials are not supplied.
Highly recommend supervision for under 18's.
