We are currently seeking friendly and compassionate volunteers to provide non-clinical patient support and to assist staff with a variety of tasks.

The role

Volunteers will work with Dialysis unit staff to ensure that patients and visitors needs are met, providing comfort for those receiving treatment. Shifts are approx. 1 hour (7.30-8.30am or 2-3pm). We have vacancies on Mon & Thu morning and Thu afternoon.
Duties include:
Assist with tea and coffee and giving patients blankets if required.
Lending an ear if needed, being compassionate, caring and polite at all times.
Re-stocking patient fridge with vitamin drinks.
Other duties as requested.

Need to know

Training is provided. Must be available on a Monday or Thursday.
