We require the services of warm, calm and caring volunteers who are able to assist at our Hospice.

The role

You will need a warm and welcoming nature for this role and be sensitive to the needs of the family and friends who have someone in palliative care. Duties include Meeting and greeting visitors, tidying areas indoors and outdoors, watering plants, refreshing flowers, assisting kitchen staff, adding seed to the bird feeders and answering resident buzzers if staff is busy. Shifts are for 3 hours – 9am -12pm, 12pm-3pm or 3pm-6pm, each day including weekends.

Need to know

Minimum 1 x COVID vaccine required. VGC recruits for this role.
