Over 1 million children have cuddled a colourful, comforting Trauma Teddy since the Australian Red Cross first started encouraging people to hand-knit them back in 1990. You can join in too!

The role

This opportunity is ideal for people who like to work alone or in groups. There are Trauma Teddy groups that you can join in all capital cities, as well as in many other cities and towns (or you can do this on your own, or start your own group if you wish!).

The Australian Red Cross estimates that it takes about 5 hours to knit a (standard sized) Trauma Teddy. Receive instructions on how to make and donate a Trauma Teddy to Red Cross (or another organisation of your choosing)
