Adopt a Yia Yia. We are seeking a Greek speaking volunteer who would like to visit older residents in an Aged Care home in Clear Island Waters.
These residents are experiencing isolation due to their limited English and would greatly benefit from companionship conversing in their language.
Weekly visits preferred (fortnightly minimum), giving social support and friendly conversation. If you would like to make a difference in someone's life we would love to hear from you.
Support provided. Full training through the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS)
