Love to drive and want to help people in your community? We are looking for volunteer drivers for our Care Car program, providing affordable transport to older adults.
For older people, a lack of affordable, age-friendly transport can lead to loneliness and isolation. We are addressing this through our Care Car program & are seeking volunteers who love to drive & help people.
Our Care Cars help people visit their family, attend medical appointments and more. We provide modern, fully-maintained vehicles and smart phones for navigation and communication with our team.
We are looking for volunteers who are available for 4-hour shifts during business hours.
Volunteers need a current drivers licence, police clearance and flu and 3 x COVID vaccinations.
