Join Southern Adelaide Palliative Service (SAPS) as a Qualified Massage Therapist Volunteer and use your skills to bring comfort and relief to patients and their families in a calming environment.

The role

Massage Volunteers provide companionship and relaxation to patients and their families within SAPS. We have a therapy room with all equipment and supplies available for your use. The Complementary Care program operates Monday - Friday. Volunteers must be able to commit to the same shift weekly or fortnightly for a minimum of 6 months. All SAPS Volunteers receive training about our service and palliative care. We have a therapy room with all equipment and supplies available for your use.

Need to know

A Qualification in Massage Therapy and a Working with Children Clearance or be willing to obtain.
